Nourish Spa & Skin Clinic Last updated: 24.07.2026

Nourish Spa & Skin Clinic ("Nourish", "we", "us", "our") respects your privacy and is committed to protecting your personal information. This policy explains what information we collect, why we collect it, how we use and store it, and the choices you have — in line with the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs) under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).

Because we collect health and skin information as part of providing treatments, we handle all personal information — regardless of our business size — to the standard the Privacy Act requires of health service providers.

1. Information We Collect

Depending on how you interact with us, we may collect:

  • Contact details — name, email address, phone number and postal address

  • Booking information — appointment history, treatments booked, preferences and notes from your therapist

  • Health & skin information — details you share in consultations or health questionnaires, such as skin conditions, allergies, sensitivities, pregnancy status, medications or relevant medical history, so we can provide safe and suitable treatment

  • Payment information — processed securely through our payment and booking providers; we do not store full card details ourselves

  • Photographs — before-and-after images, taken with your consent, to track treatment progress or (with separate consent) for marketing

  • Website usage information — such as pages visited, browser type and general location, collected automatically via cookies and analytics tools when you use this website

2. How We Collect Information

We collect personal information directly from you — when you book an appointment (in person, by phone, or through this website), complete a consultation or health form, purchase a gift voucher or package, subscribe to our newsletter, or contact us with an enquiry. Some information (like general website usage data) is collected automatically through cookies when you browse this site.

3. Why We Collect and Use Your Information

We use your personal information to:

  • Book, confirm and manage your appointments

  • Provide safe, personalised treatment, including assessing suitability and contraindications

  • Process payments, deposits, gift vouchers and package purchases

  • Send appointment reminders and respond to your enquiries

  • Send marketing communications (only where you've opted in, and you can unsubscribe at any time)

  • Improve our website and services

  • Meet our legal, accounting and insurance obligations

We do not use your health information for marketing purposes.

4. Disclosure to Third Parties

We may share your information with trusted third parties who help us run our business, including:

  • Our website and booking platform provider (Wix)

  • Payment processors (for example, in connection with EFTPOS, card payments and Afterpay)

  • Email marketing or newsletter platforms (only for guests who have opted in)

  • Professional advisers (such as our accountant), where necessary

We do not sell your personal information to third parties. Some of these providers may store or process data on servers located outside Australia (for example, as part of Wix's global hosting infrastructure); where this occurs, we take reasonable steps to ensure your information continues to be protected consistently with the Australian Privacy Principles.

5. Cookies & Website Analytics

This website uses cookies and similar technologies to help it function properly, remember your preferences, and understand how visitors use the site (for example, via website analytics tools). You can control or disable cookies through your browser settings, though some parts of the website may not work as intended if you do.

6. Data Storage & Security

We take reasonable steps to protect the personal information we hold from misuse, loss, unauthorised access, modification or disclosure — including secure storage of client records and restricting access to staff who need it to do their job. No method of electronic storage or transmission is completely secure, but we work to keep your information safe.

7. How Long We Keep Your Information

We retain personal and health information for as long as you remain a client, and for a reasonable period afterward to meet our legal, insurance and record-keeping obligations (health-related treatment records are generally kept for at least 7 years). You can ask us to delete information we no longer need to hold at any time, and we will do so unless we are required to retain it by law.

8. Access & Correction

You have the right to ask what personal information we hold about you, to request a copy of it, and to ask us to correct it if it's wrong or out of date. To make a request, please contact us using the details below — we will respond within a reasonable time and may need to verify your identity first.

9. Marketing & Opting Out

If you've subscribed to our newsletter or marketing emails, you can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any email we send, or by contacting us directly. Opting out of marketing won't affect appointment reminders or other essential communications about your bookings.

10. Photography Consent

We only use before-and-after photographs for marketing (including on our website or social media) with your specific, separate consent. You can decline having photographs taken, or withdraw consent for their use, at any time by telling your therapist or contacting us directly.

11. Children's Privacy

We do not knowingly collect personal information from children without parental or guardian consent. Where a guest under 18 is booked in for treatment, we collect the necessary information with the consent and involvement of a parent or guardian, in line with our Terms & Conditions.

12. Complaints

If you have a concern about how we've handled your personal information, please contact us first so we can try to resolve it directly. If you're not satisfied with our response, you can lodge a complaint with the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) at oaic.gov.au.

13. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or legal requirements. The version published on this website will always be the current one.
